First-time parents in NW DC are seeking a professional, experienced caregiver to support their 3-month-old baby. They are looking for someone who truly understands infant developmental milestones and age-appropriate stimulation, and who is engaging, hands-on, proactive, consistent, and reliable in their care. This role is ideal for a nanny who enjoys collaborating closely with parents to establish and maintain routines and schedules, communicates clearly and thoughtfully, and brings strong emotional intelligence to their work. The family values professionalism, punctuality, respect, patience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure, and they hope to welcome someone who takes pride in caregiving as a profession and is excited to become a trusted part of their family. Willingness to travel is required, CPR certification and all vaccines are a must, and while a college degree is a plus, it is not required. The family also has a dog, so comfort around pets is important.
