A busy household in Alexandria is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Household Manager to help keep their home running smoothly. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing systems, anticipating needs, and providing thoughtful support behind the scenes. The home is large and highly automated, with established systems already in place, so the family is looking for someone confident in managing and maintaining those systems while keeping a careful eye on the household overall. Comfort around dogs is important, as the family has a friendly lab and travels frequently.

Responsibilities include:
⭐️ Ensuring the home is well-stocked with healthy, ready-to-eat food when the family returns from travel.
⭐️ Light cooking and meal prep such as soups or simple meals that can be reheated or thawed.
⭐️ Grocery shopping and restocking the refrigerator and pantry.
⭐️ Collecting mail and packages, including signing for special or international deliveries.
⭐️ Being present for scheduled deliveries such as artwork or furniture.
⭐️ Managing laundry as needed.
⭐️ Taking trash cans out and bringing them back in when the family is away to maintain the appearance of an occupied home.
⭐️ Checking on the dog during short trips, including letting the dog out and back in if needed.
⭐️ Walking through the home and yard to notice issues such as dying plants, leaks, or maintenance concerns and flagging them for the family.
⭐️ Leaving notes or updates about anything that needs attention while the family is traveling.
